Words for the World of Darkness
In the World of Darkness a veil is removed from your eyes, you start to notice things that weren't there before, or perhaps they were, and you just couldn't see until now. All the dark things that go bump in the night are real, monsters exist. Will you fight them? die by their hands (or fangs)? or will you choose to become them?

WoD encompasses many things: there are video games, comics, novellas, streams and board games all based in the world of darkness setting, but the most prominent products are the tabletop role playing games. These games include vampires, werewolves, mages, mummy's, and monster hunters to name a few.

Of these Vampire the Masquerade is one of the most popular horror rpg's of it's time, up there with the greats such as Vampire the Requiem, players become the monsters and experience deep and meaningful themes of political horror and an everlasting struggle to keep ones humanity in check, should the player succumb to the beast, all is over.

A bit about the author:

Late to the game starting with 5th edition I find myself enthralled by Vampire the Masquerade and curious to explore more of what WoD has to offer. As of 2021 WoD has taken off at lightning speed, events such as Vamptober, and L.A. By Night have fans craving for more and more.
I myself am a novice Storyteller for Vampire: the Masquerade and I plan to ST for Mage: the Ascension sometime in the near future. I have been playing RPG's for 9+ years, namely Dungeons and Dragons. I highly recommend anyone who hasn't yet played in an RPG to try it out, you will meet great people, have tonnes of fun, and learn new things about yourself.

RPG's aren't some exclusive club only super nerds have access to. Even kids can enjoy them; with Animal Adventures you can play either a cat or a dog and go on heroic adventures, even the Power Ranges is getting an RPG (I'm super keen to try it someday) and the classic sci-fi novel Dune got one a few years back.

As you can tell, I'm pretty keen on RPGs; however, I do have other hobbies: I like to paint mini-figures while listening to audiobooks, and I play board games every Monday night and most Wednesdays with the local games club... I occasionally playtest for Blood on the Clocktower, a murder mystery social deduction game that is intriguing the globe right now! I also play video games such as Dead by Daylight and read about the occult if I'm not too busy buying more content on Storytellers Vault to add to my WoD collection. I also love animals and hanging out in the garden. So that's probably enough about me, if you read this far, well done! I hope you enjoy reading the blog as much as I enjoy writing it.
